MBKU SGA

MBKU Student Government Association (SGA)
MBKU SGA includes all government positions, committees, student organizations, and clubs. SGA is governed by the University Student Executive Council (USEC) comprised of an elected president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer, as well as the elected president from each class cabinet and committee chairs.

An awesome perk of being a student at MBKU is that your Student Association Fee includes membership into your program's national professional organization-of-choice. All optometry students are members of the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA), all PA students are members of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and all pharmacy students are members of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).

Student-Run Clubs & Organizations
All MBKU students are encouraged and invited to participate in SGA and any clubs and organizations where they may have an interest. At least a handful of our existing student organizations include members from all three Programs. We have a great variety of interest groups for SCCO, SPAS, and COP students.

Each fall, all first-year students are invited to a Clubs & Organizations Info Night where each group has a table out on the Commons to market themselves to potential new members. Check out our current registered organizations on our new campus engagement platform, Presence.

Don't see an organization you're looking for? Students start their own groups all the time! Contact University Student Affairs (StudentAffairs@ketchum.edu) for information on starting an organization and going through the University Recognition Process.
